STEVE SAID something good and then…oops!

At the SUNY Orange graduation, Steve rightly said to honor the Military Veterans that were graduating, but then he goes on.

Now before we take a scathing look at what Steve went on to say, Auntie must tell you that she was out attending various Memorial Day events and was privileged to speak to many Veterans. EVERY ONE of them told your Auntie that STEVE SAID that he would NOT SELL VALLEY VIEW when he spoke to them.

During the graduation address Steve went on to say: "principles make you who you are."

Now I don’t know what you think, but it does not seem very principled to your Auntie to say that you won’t sell Valley View and then have it OUT OF COUNTY CONTROL under the control of the LDC within the first few months of your administration. Why he just scurried along with that transfer, didn’t he? And all his little legislators just scurried along with him.

STEVE SAID: "surround yourself with people who are smarter than you."

You mean to tell us that smart people are advising you on your course of action? People smarter that you are telling you to mislead your constituents repeatedly? Hey, Stevie Wonder, tell those so called smart people that we’ve caught on already! You better get some even smarter people to guide you.

STEVE SAID: "Change is one of the most important things you can do in life."

Change?

Like what? "Changing" the facts depending on to whom you speak?

But, wait, what about sticking to your principles?

  1. Auntie, don't you know principles are only for the foolish taxpayers and not for politicians such as this. He, our CE, will say anything to anyone as long as it suits his agenda on that day. And as far as salary upgrades, when everyone else not in the inner circle is facing job losses, well that's what we get for not having SMART people surrounding us.
