Dear Nieces and Nephews, Remember Uncle Phil, from Clark,
Patterson, Lee (Orange County Government Center and Sewer expansion study with
Delaware Engineering) and also of CGR fame (Reference the Nursing Home Report
that predicted doom and gloom for County-run Nursing Homes http://reports.cgr.org/details/1707
) He is casting his net over the political landscape of Orange County to see what
he collects. He is a "fisher of men"!
His fondness for Orange County stems from his altruistic
tendencies and because his wife is from the Hudson Valley. His highly
misunderstood campaign contributions to County Executive Steve Neuhaus,
Legislators Bonelli, Cheney and Benton (and employment -albeit short
lived-for Benton) stem from mere fondness for these people, not from hopes of return
favors. Wink-wink!
The designs presented by Clark Patterson Lee for the new
addition to the Government Center will take a building complex that is
interesting (even if you do not appreciate Paul Rudolph’s work, you must admit
it is interesting) to plain butt-ugly. And OC will be spending more than they would if they just built a new government center. But never fear! Uncle Phil knows best.
Uncle Phil is now in league with Delaware Engineering,
D.P.C. to undertake a study to expand treatment capacity from six to nine
million gallons per day. AND the study parameters include
Chester and New Windsor in addition to the original communities served by OCSD
#1. Wow!
Find more capacity, for more communities, at a plant that has reached
capacity for the communities it now serves, with no additional places for treated effluent. Just the Ramapo River, which provides
drinking water to points south. Yummy! Let’s move to New Jersey and drink some of
that!!!
But don’t worry, Uncle Phil Clark will devise a way to do
this.
How?
And, did you know the Phillip Clark team of Clark
Patterson and Lee also does the bridge inspections for the NYS Thruway
Authority and the inspections of all Erie Canal structures? They certainly do!
And they also list the City of Rochester and Monroe County as clients.
Back in 2010, Uncle Phil contributed to the unfullfilled gubernatorial campaign of David
Paterson in the amount of $500.00 and the same to County Legislator candidate
(Monroe County) Vincent Esposito in 2011. In 2013, he gave $250 to Mayoral
candidate (not kidding about the name) Lovely Warren in the City of Rochester.
In 2013, Mr. Phillip J Clark of Pittsford NY, shared his
largess with the Steve Neuhaus campaign giving a contribution of $2500.00 (see? He
does like Orange County better.) In 2012, 2011 and 2010, Phil gave $2500 in each of
those years to former Orange County Executive Eddie Diana. And remember, as
reported in the THRecord, January 31st, he also gave $7500 to the NYS
GOP to apparently help with their expenditure on Steve’s
campaign mailings. Uncle Phil then made an additional contribution to the State GOP of
$2500.
It does pay to play, it just costs more in Orange County.
Note to DAIN PASCOCELLO: When you point out that other
companies contributed but did not get contracts only means that Steve would win no matter what.
It’s similar to hedging your bets.
Hallo Deutsch Nichten und Neffen!
ReplyDeleteHey Dain! Nice try but not good enough. If a company that did NOT contribute to Steve's campaign got the contracts, then you could defend the County Executive.
ReplyDeleteYou are all a bunch of crooks.
Isn't it nice that Steve defers to the unbiased Uncle Phil on important things?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny all these shenanigans happened right before the pay-to-play law that Angnastakis put into place, to help stop all this. The law that Legislator Mike A put in, started in 2014. But these crooked people got in their goodies right before the law started!! WOW
