demolishing dreams

Dear Nieces and Nephews, yesterday, the Orange County Legislative Building Committee moved forward with their plans for demolishing most of the Orange County Government Center, using plans by CLARK PATTERSON LEE.

L STEPHEN SAID: “The bids for demolition came in a little higher than expected but, we’re very confident we’re going to save in the next phases of construction,”

While L. Stephen Brescia and “Kitty Kat” Bonelli were playing decorator and making a show of trying “to keep some of what was there before” (Really? Then don’t do anything that has the word ‘DEMOLISH’ in it…) another legislator, Roseanne Sullivan had some interesting things to say about the project.

The biggest problem, according to Legislator Sullivan, is that the legislators, who are responsible for this project's expenditures overall, including the monies dispersed to CLARK PATTERSON LEE, have NOT seen the contract the County Government has with CPL!!! Legislator Sullivan deserves points for bringing this to light and Auntie and the Team strongly encourage her to continue with her demands until the County Executive complies.

And we expect to see it posted on the county website instead of all the poorly written fluff produced by Dain Pascocello.

Where’s your “transparency” now Stevie Thunder?

  1. The contract giving CPL millions of county taxpayer dollars should have been posted a long time ago according to the campaign promises of this new CE. Or maybe the ink is still not dry for all the changes they have amended into it, and the bonuses for getting away with their unethical behavior.

  2. You mean the county exec didn't keep another campaign promise? What's this, the third one now?
