Dear Nieces and Nephews, there’s even more to Kenneth Delvecchio than meets the marketing eye.

The self-proclaimed filmmaker and author is playing a little fast and loose with the truth and your Auntie thought that, during this week of the supposed 10^th anniversary of the Hoboken Film Festival (and we will not refer to it as “International” when it is not) Auntie and the Team should share the following with you.

Kenny has himself as a former Judge in his list of credentials, part of his self-marketing program.

Your Auntie has pointed out that while he was indeed a local justice in the Borough of North Arlington, Bergen County, NJ (akin to a Town Justice in NYS) he had resigned after only a few months because of a potential conflict of interest according to the NJ Code of Judicial Conduct.

“After DelVecchio said he wasn't entirely convinced that a conflict existed, Scandariato reluctantly tried to remind the judge that he, DelVecchio, had interviewed him for a borough job at a Republican Party fund-raiser two years ago.

"I don't even recall the conversation," DelVecchio said before granting the change of venue.”

DelVecchio has strong connections to borough Republicans. He was appointed municipal judge with a $25,000 salary in January by a newly formed GOP majority that he helped bring to power. DelVecchio helped two Republican newcomers win seats on the Borough Council as president of the North Arlington Republicans, a position he has since given up.”

Appointed, not elected.

That just about says what we need to know about Kenny’s veracity. Thankfully for the people of North Arlington, he no longer sits on the bench.

Unfortunately for us, he has his sights on Orange County where he seems to have found kindred spirits in Steve Thunder the County Executive, Joe Joe Destefano, Middletown Mayor and off course, the missing-in-action Angela Rosier Taylor, the naughty porno “model” who was the VP of the festival last year.
