Happy Labor Day!

Dear Nieces and Nephews,

Auntie and the Team wish all a happy and safe holiday. 

 

While many will enjoy a day off from work with barbecues or shopping, please remember that this Holiday celebrates the efforts of hard working people in the United States of America, one of the many reasons that make this country great.

And freedom of speech, yes, even in Orange County, also contributes to making this land of ours a great place to live. Auntie is proud of her Nieces and Nephews that have spoken out on our local issues. (And please keep sending Auntie and the Team your info!)

So while most of us are busy working and taking care of families, we may take solace that things are getting better in NY and Orange County.

Last month the NYS Comptroller released a report on Employment trends in NY and the report shows that things in NY are not quite as bad as predicted by some elected officials in OC. More people in the Hudson Valley are employed and job growth has increased 4 years running.

Yes, there are more jobs right here in Orange County!!! Do you know why?

Why? Why it’s because of KENNY!!! Yes. He is back!!!! Kenneth Delvecchio, the “Nonchalance Renaissance Man” from New Jersey, is very concerned about the local economy in OCNY.

According to HIS ad in the THR, he has (out of sheer altruism, through his Sobroken –was it ever in Hoboken?-film festival) “infused millions of dollars and created hundreds of job in the Hudson Valley Economy”.  (Where? At the local hot dog stand?)

He is promoting his film festival along with workshops and movie opportunities for the unaware. After all, you should jump at the chance to appear in one of his films like the Life Zone, a movie about subjecting women to the will of others, or his films starring porn stars. And you should definitely attend a workshop at one of his imaginary classes, like the imaginary School of Criminal Justice he owned, somewhere. (Aren't there laws against false advertising?)

This will create so many jobs that we will start to pave the streets with GOLD!!!
