Where else would you find such a train of thought? (This part is “poetic license”)

“We can’t do a partial rebuild because of the State and Federal government, so let’s build a whole new one!”

“We can’t build a whole new government center because we have a 60 million dollar deficit, let’s build anyway, we are selling Valley View, so why not?”

“We barely received the votes to renovate and rebuild as the plans indicated, and we will have to preserve more of the structure (renovate not rebuild, which costs less) so it will be more difficult to get the votes to spend less money”

Now back to actual:

L. Stephen SAID: "I don't think we're going to have the votes,"

Dear Legislator Brescia: ARE YOU SERIOUS??? You won’t have the votes to spend LESS money? Do you have ANY powers of persuasion or maybe some consensus building skills?

And Dear County Executive and Cohorts, you can’t tell us that you had NO knowledge of SHPO’s and FEMA’s inclinations; if that is true, then shame on you for not doing your job!!!

And it looks like the alphabet soup that is our federal and state government is blaming the county and the county is blaming them and the executive branch blames the legislators and blah blah blah!!!

Grow up!!! ALL OF YOU!!!
