Touro College Rocked By Cash For Grades Scandal
Touro College, which
describes itself as a school operating under Jewish auspices, is in effect a
haredi version of Yeshiva University, a few steps up from a degree mill but
considerably weaker academically than YU. Late today a NY grand jury issued 10
indictments in a cash for grades and cash for transcripts scheme that began
operating at least as far back as 2003.

Dear Jeff:
Your plan is GARBAGE!!! It only serves to line the pockets of Focus Ventures and Touro College and whoever else-we will find out. We don't need Focus Ventures for med students to do a rotation. We don't need Touro taking some of the Valley View residents, moving them from a county-owned facility to a private entity. And besides, just which residents would you choose?
Was this the plan that former Republican Chairman, Bill Deprospo, outlined to you that day when you, Melissa Bonacic and Katie Bonelli met with Billy?
Did you even think to look into the backgrounds of either Focus or Touro? You are the elected official whose job it is to make an INFORMED decision. You are the one who is paid by the people to do your due diligence. Did you even make an attempt at doing some homework?
Or maybe you were just waiting for your Auntie to do it.
