Maloney and the Netanyahu speech

Dear Nieces and Nephews,Oh! Boy! This is hot!

And it is interesting in a few ways: The Congressman’s stance on attending Netanyahu’s speech next week and this letter from the Mayor of KJ in itself.
Let's take a look, shall we?

MALONEY SAID: “Congress has traditionally set aside partisanship to come together to promote the safety and security of our strategic ally, and I strongly disagree with Speaker Boehner’s partisan and poorly timed decision. I continue to hope that all parties can make adjustments to ensure all supporters can be in attendance at this joint meeting of Congress.” Http://blogs.hudsonvalley.com/fray/#sthash.zf9s5wfA.dpuf

Congressman, by not attending the speech because of the Speaker's “partisan and poorly timed decision” aren’t YOU playing politics too?

Forgetting who invited whom and why, setting aside the President’s initial snub (which started this, BTW) and the pressure exerted on you by the block vote of KJ, just answer this question:

Do you think it is a good idea to attend and show support for the Prime Minister of Israel, our only true ally in the Middle East?

Senator Schumer and Rep. Nita Lowey are attending. (Good for you both!)

And the Anti-Zionist Satmar Hasids don’t give a flying donkey for the President’s foreign policy and showing him respect; they just want to see if the Congressman will do as they direct. (Apparently Senator Gillibrand is.)

Hopefully, Maloney will attend, dispel the notion that he is another political hack answering to KJ and be respectful towards the Israeli PM, no matter who did the inviting.

Now let’s take a peek at the letter:

While we suspect that the 25k number was probably presented "to impress", it is quite revealing. According to the US Census Data, in 2010, the population of the village was presented as 20,175 and according to the Community Survey Estimate, the population for the village in 2013 was 20,734 which would be an estimated population growth over 3 years of 559 persons or 186 per year. In his letter, Mayor Weider reveals that the population is almost 25,000. That’s an additional 4,266 people in a two year period or an additional 2,133 people per year.  Wow!  http://factfinder.census.gov

Somebody doesn’t know how to count.

But just think what will happen with an additional 507 acres.

I hope he has the courage to stand up to the KJ bullies!!!
We are not asking for discrimination against KJ but we don't want discrimination against us either.
I hope he has the courage, but don't count on it

Maloney is a smart guy. He will do the math and realize that the newly forming block vote of municipalities outside of kj with the help of United Monroe is bigger than the block vote of kj
