Dear Nieces and Nephews, Not to be outdone by Danny boy
and his pot farm (oops- “Facility”) Stevie Thunder has a farm too. And it is a
sexy farm (Is this an example of marketing by Josh Sommers and Focus Media?
Even Dain could come up with something better) Yes, Steve did call this farm
project, the first to receive financing by the Energy Improvement Corporation (for
installing solar panels), "a
beautifully sexy project" (Sexy: concerned predominantly or excessively
with sex; risqué-dictionary.com)
As tempting as it
is to FOCUS on that comment, that is not what makes this interesting.
Hank reports in his midhudsoneus.com that the Energy Improvement
Corporation which provides the funding for Energize NY, is owned by local
governments, even Orange County! However:
Energize NY is a
community-based energy efficiency program operating within the Energy
Improvement Corp (EIC), a New York State local development corporation. http://energizeny.org/eic
Oh Hank, when did you stop trying? The energy improvement
corporation is not "owned by local governments"; it is a local
development corporation.
Yup! An LDC, a private entity using public money.
Just like the Orange Valley View LDC, its operations and
finances are not open to the public even
if it's sexy (sorry we couldn't resist).
One of the board members, one of the people in this LDC who
decides who gets what and how much is…
wait for it…
DAVID CHURCH OC
Planning Commissioner who reports to STEVE! No conflict there!
Now, when you look at the terms of the appointments, this
LDC has been around for a few years and yet as midhudsonneus.com points out,
this is their first loan. Hmmn? Auntie and the Team want to know: just how
much compensation do these board members receive for sitting around for a few
years, thinking about whose crony gets a loan? While this may be the first loan; what monies were available and how were they dispersed?
Well, we guess it CAN be a "sexy project" if you have the right farmhands.
On target AUNTIE what a joke isnt that ANGELA ROSIER TAYLOR the Neuhause campaign poster gal pal?
