What did your Auntie say the other day?
In many situations, it seems like the Orange County method
of dealing with constituents is “Our way or the highway”. Either you
accept the “compromise”, which is the one they wanted all along or accept the original offense. But
the compromise is easier to swallow than the major offense, so "reasonable" people accept the compromise.
Basically, it is this: take the 30-year pilot or 20-year
pilot for Legoland; take the 507 or 164 annexation in regard to KJ. (which is more than 164, with the
formation of North Monroe.) The county will say: “They
have most of that area, so you should give it to them anyway”* That will bring
the total to over 300 acres of land from the Town of Monroe. But don’t worry
Monroe, it is still less than 507 acres and Woodbury is next to share your pain! And, those dolts in Woodbury do not see it coming! (also note that
the 507 petition has not yet been withdrawn).
Smaller and more palatable, for now.
Not accepting either proposal? It is not presented as an
option because you don’t want to appear as if you are unwilling to compromise. But not
accepting either should be an option! In the case of KJ, the customs and practices of having large families and
exponential population growth-( religious or not) is their choice. Since their
practices cause the unsustainable living conditions, it is up to the Village of Kiryas Joel leaders to come up with a solution and to "compromise", not
the other way around!
We know that County funding for the lawsuit is going by the wayside: the lawmakers will decide to withdraw from the suit
because they do not want to spend taxpayer’s money on an issue where not one
has compromised yet! See how it’s done? (check out THR Friday page 3.)
If a robber approaches you and asks for all your money
but settles for half, which you give to the robber, does that mean that it wasn’t
a robbery?
If you told Steve Brescia that no one in Monroe, Blooming
Grove, Woodbury Cornwall, Tuxedo and the numerous villages contained therein,
would ever vote for him if he decides to de-fund the lawsuit, he would not
care, because those municipalities are not in his district, ha! Hence the
rationale for TERM LIMITS! Also, this is the rationale to limit an elected official
to holding only one elected position at a time. Steve Brescia is a Mayor and a
County Legislator, as well as the Chair of the Legislature. What power! (More on him later.) Seems like he and Stevie Neuhaus went to the same school of politics.
You know, the one that teaches an elected official to make it LOOK like they are
doing something when they are not, the David Copperfield School of Politics and Focused Grandstanding. Magic!
Since they have already committed to the area and are earmarked to receive over $10 million in state grants, Merlin Entertainments does not need
another incentive to be “lured to the area”
as stated by the cheerleader, Maureen Hallahan of OC Partnership. (That woman
gets paid over $200 K a year to express such gems as the above and “Other counties are jealous of us” when it
comes to Legoland.) How professional!
Many on Auntie’s team are jealous of the amount of money
she makes for doing so little work, so they have come up with a list of
exclamations for the Pro-Legoland sect to utilize. Send the check for 200,000
dollars to Auntie Alibi and she will divide it properly.
“This will transcend all of your experiences so far!!!” And
make money for our schools!”
“Legoland will be a blessing to the economy and we will
be able to pray in their temple.”
“Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!!!” (OK, we stole that from Steve)
And quotes from the
Lego bible (KSV)**, such as Phil 3:16 :
“For God so loved the world that he gave his
only son, Phil, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
life and business opportunities with legos”
We are also jealous of the salaries enjoyed by the
Village of Kiryas Joel’s Elected Officials:
For reference, here are the Top 10 municipal/village
salaries in KJ:
Aron Felberman
– $137,584
Jacob Gluck – $134,732
Aron Schreiber
– $130,728
Joel Mertz –
$119,136
Zalmen Stern –
$106,382
Joshua
Blumenthal – $99,230
Moses Witrol –
$96,408
Wouldn’t be nice if the people from Orange County who
actually did some work, made this kind of money?
We live in an age of corruption and it is not only a
statewide endemic, but a WORLDWIDE phenomenon!
Wake up people! Decide your own fate!!! Get active!!!
It’s YOUR money and YOUR quality of life that is being compromised (get it?)
here.
or when is a jacuzzi really a mikvah?

ReplyDeleteAuntie, all of your posts are so spot on they should be published in a book so the taxpayers can get a real education on the corruption they are helping to encourage by sitting blindly by just shelling out their hard earned dollars sorich private companies get richer receiving grants and IDA benefits all sanctioned by our glorious men/women who tell us how good it is for our economy. They all represent the finest of our community, the high elite, the friends appointed by guess who. A nice investigative committee should be formed if their is anyone left in OC who can be trusted to do one. Seems like all who did flew away.
ReplyDeletePlease start a Facebook page of these posts so we can see them automatically and share them.
ReplyDeleteAuntie. Has lieut. Steve neuhaus,s Sea bee Unit been deployed?
ReplyDeleteJust heard Lieut. Stevie has been deployed. Cant say to were security situation perhaps. If deployed who,s steering the USS O.C.?
DeletePlease Auntie - you are able to explain the issues of corruption here so well. Have you thought of a news tip to a larger pool (Email: tips@nytimes.com) . Seriously believe what is happening here is deserving of attention from an impartial newspaper (not THR lol)
ReplyDeleteHey supwidat why don't YOU send it to the times?
ReplyDeleteImpartial? Supwindat must work for them!
ReplyDeleteGood point Anon except I really don't have the ability to frame things properly - not nearly the resources or info of Auntie. Any other newspaper with national reach would be fine. I chose the NYT because at least it's based in the same state - and if they did pick up the story it would get picked up by many other outlets.
ReplyDeleteSupwidat just send the link and stop playing
ReplyDeleteDocumented by Harry Porr @ the Health Equity Conference on Wednesday, 3/8/17, CE Neuhaus could not be @ the conference, as he was on "military duty."
ReplyDeleteHow about reaching out to Project Veritas?
ReplyDeleteChange is inevitable, deal with it or move. You guys look like you know you have lost. The wheels came off a while ago. Maybe Lego can make you some new ones.
