Mystery Money

Dear Nieces and Nephews

No one in the New York Senate wants to take credit for getting Kiryas Joel a $2 million grant to widen some roads.”

Two million dollars to “widen some roads”? How many roads does a Village of less than 2 Square Miles have?

Apparently 2 million dollars worth.

This is not their "first bite of the sandwich", however. For example:

It is almost like deep cover; the State and Municipal Facilities program through the State Dormitory Authority at a request from the Senate Finance Committee in March 2017 by the Committee member with no name. Unbelievable!

WHO could it be? Senator Larkin’s spokesman denies that the Senator made the request. Since the Village of Kiryas Joel is in Senator Larkin’s district, it is natural to assume the Senator made the request. Maybe someone in his office made the request on his behalf and the Senator did not know about it?
(Yes it seems that Larkin is running again this year, at an age of over 90 years.)

Maybe his fellow Republican John Bonacic, Senator for the western part of the County, did so on his (Larkin’s) behalf?

“Lawmakers normally tout the bacon they bring home to their districts with press releases, as state Sen. John Bonacic did last week in announcing a $50,000 State and Municipal Facilities grant for a parking lot at Veterans Memorial Park in Warwick. But the sponsor of Kiryas Joel’s grant is a mystery no one seems to want to solve.” (from same reference above)

There are 37 members on the NYS Senate Finance Committee. (How do they get anything done?). At first glance it appears that the Democrats have a majority on this committee, until you realize that at least 3 of them are with the IDC (Independent Democratic Caucus-a group of 5 Democrats that actually caucus with the Republicans for power and leverage reasons).

The following are members of immediate interest on the Senate Finance Committee, from whence came the request:

Representing parts of Orange County:

John Bonancic and William Larkin

Members of the IDC:

Diane Savino, representing part of Staten Island and the coastline of Brooklyn from south of Park Slope to Brighton Beach. She is Vice-Chair of the committee, a plum position!
David Carlucci representing our neighboring Rockland County (except Stony Point) and part of Westchester County; he is Mr. “Merge the successful NY Bridge Authority with the failing NY Thruway Authority so your taxes will go up.” What a guy!
Tony Avello, representing parts of Queens and Nassau County

Who could it be?

Nieces and Nephews, don’t worry about it! It’s not like it is funded by OUR tax dollars, is it? hahaha!

And after all, your good friends at United Monroe fixed everything!!!

Or did they?

Your Auntie thought it was a bit presumptuous on their (UM’s) part to assume they speak for EVERYONE in Monroe. And a bit short sighted. We are trying to be nice and not use terms like “full of hubris, arrogance or chutzpah, as shown by the “Tony Cardone Strut”.

Now, there’s a man who is very pleased with himself, in our opinion. One would think that he alone “killed the dragon”, especially since Emily Convers has been MIA of late.*

And the sad realization is, they did not do that at all. United Monroe merely delayed the inevitable because they do not see what is in front of them. And they lost many friends on the way.

*Emily Convers has resigned from United Monroe. This and the fact that John Allegro resigned from the Assembly race last time when he had a very strong chance of winning, causes us to wonder about what happens to UM leadership? Something leads to these resignations. It could be as simple as “burn out” from a demanding leadership position or something else. Because of our suspicious natures but mostly because of our observations of the local political scene, we think it is something else.
P.S. On a side note, we look forward to two new FRIENDS OF STEVE-FOS being appointed as the Director of Tourism and the Director of Economic Development tomorrow!!! Stay tuned!!!

It's not to be beleived our tax$$ are given away by unknown elected officials to a block voting group to keep them selves in good stead come re election time. We the people are fools to let this happen. Millions to legoland an casino projects power plant all using our tax dollars this is sick. Photo of Steve Neuhaus with a deer head a a back drop in his new office. How about the head of a tax payer on his wall the forgotten peo. Of Orange Co. N.Y. WAKE UP ORANGE CO. I wonder how much he paid for the deer head and where he bought it.

It is probably a symbol of his very close ties to Deer Park... after all, isn't that where his buddies Dave, Karl & Gary hail?

You are supposed to look at it and say "what a man" because he is a "big game" (he thinks) hunter but like everything else it is merely a prop.

That prop was probably part of the $8M fee we the tax payers paid for office furniture for the new bldg. A deer head made of LEGOS would have been more appropriate, that was a real trophy shot to the head to all the residents of OC.

We the people have only one power to drain the septic system of corruption. It is called your VOTE !!! And no one seems to think it is important. We fail over and over again to let good candidates slip away and keep voting in the same good ol' boys club. Even worse some ran unopposed, and are retreads who committed the worst crimes against the taxpayers of OC.

Me thinks it's something else, too. UM Execs made their deal(s) with the Satmars and now it is time to move on and annihilate another community with constituents who refuse to look at the entire picture. It's so easy to just be told who to vote for and dont worry we'll take care of everything! You bet they did! But you will find yourself holding the short end...I so hate to say "You all deserve it" when there are so many innocents who will and are getting hurt by their devious actions. Monroe is gone...it's too late to salvage anything...and Orange County is right behind! Trump pointed to the wrong place when he called it a "Sh*thole" He just had to look directly across the Hudson River. NIMBY

Thanks to UM this county will now be the new largest settlement of Satmars in all of NYS. They will own this county lock stock and barrel. CPV or LEGO will not bother them in the least. This has been the plan for decades, and each CE has sat back and joined in guaranteeing their progress. Their reward was the power each vote gave them. $2M is nothing, a mere drop in the bucket. Just look at how much they are making with their private deals with our corrupt agencies. Say good-by to Goshen while you can still breathe.
