Directed by Steve

Dear Nieces and Nephews

In this corner of the world that we call Orange County the predictably unpredictable (or is it the unpredictably predictable?) happens.

Yes, a housing developer/contractor, who was a deputy commissioner in the Orange County Public Works Department, James Brooks of Chester, was appointed to his level of incompetence-see "The Peter Principle"-as Parks Commissioner. His salary will now be $120,000/yr, up from $101,000/yr.

Yes, The Orange County legislators of a particular party, in an effort to please their god, Noodlehaus, went against the current trend of consolidating director positions and departments and created two new ones: Director/Department of Tourism and Director/Department of Economic development, both under the County Executive's direct control with the funding attached to the CE's budget.

Yes, the main theory behind these actions, is for FOS to get great paying jobs but there is also something else.

Steve Noodlehaus is increasing his responsibilities and job description, on paper, so he can justify A BIG FAT RAISE, which will also go through the legislature with "the greatest of ease".

By the time the next election comes around, the voters will forget and go back to saying "He is such a nice young man" and "He is so involved, you see him everywhere. He must be doing such a great job!" even if he is usually "out of the office".

Call the office, find out where he is. 845-291-2700 (country code is 001)

Auntie and the Team wonder how long he can play that card? Steve isn't getting any younger and in another year or two, his routine won't be so "cute".

Then what will he do? Run for Governor? Hahahahaha!!!! Seriously, he will try. But he will not succeed.

Better to go out on a high note, Stefan Noodlehaus aka Steve Neuhaus, time is running out.

He looks well fed and should be when he makes close to $200,000 a year. But he will need a raise soon so he can sock away some dough for a rainy day in the Caymans.

Is it true if you are hired as a county employee that before you can start working you must meet the Noodle or one of his macaroni and take the pledge?
