HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

The Fourth of July, Auntie would like to remind you, is not about fireworks and barbeques. Although those are nice ways to celebrate and spend time with family and friends, Auntie urges you to remember the struggles that our nations founders had undergone to establish a system of government still in effect today!

And even though there are currently some "Ne'er-do-wells" in office locally, (as well the state and federal), that only underscores the importance of our involvement!!! We must actively participate in the process. That is the beauty of our system, we CAN do just that. And remember, the system of our Democratic Republic (see how nicely those two words get along?-hee hee) while somewhat flawed, is the best on the planet. The Constitution of the United States has served as the model for constitutions in other countries around the world. Maybe, just maybe, there is something to that!

So don't let the Ne'er do wells ruin your love of America, let them serve as the inspiration to correct the wrongs! to remove them from office if they are not doing the job! 

That is one of the things America is about! Freedom from Tyranny!!!
