Executive Salaries, A Missed Opportunity for Budget Cuts!
In Orange County, it is important for our County Executive to make almost as much money as a President! (referring to the pre-"W" era when Presidents earned $200,000.) $182,177!!!
Take a look at the charts below and see how many "Executives" you can see that make over $100,000 a year! (Including a recently created position, Deputy County Executive. Wayne Booth is earning $130K/yr, for WHAT? Ribbon cutting ceremonies? Now, there's an opportunity to cut costs!)

Westchester County executive makes $160,760.00 and is actually doing something for the money.
Ulster County Executive (the one Steve is in love with) makes $134,300.00
And Steve gets $182,000.00 for ruining the County?

I can't believe this is true. As a county employee who is potentially on the chopping block, I will be truly appalled if this is passed.
Caro Nipote, unfortunately it is true! The rank and file are being asked to cut back while the executive positions are getting raises! The County Executive salary is MORE than the Governor's!!! The Deputy Countyy Executive is taking in a whooping $130,000 /yr for NOTHING. Why doesn't the CE Defund that empty position?

What scandal, its been almost a month?
I actually like Carl but when he first campaigned for the office he criticized Bigger and is really no better. Carl is a master at self promotion and has been campaigning for reelection since first voted into that office in 2003. 24/7 and we pay for the gas.
Jones on the other hand, besides being a bully, is an expert at covering things up. He is a blowhard that loves to hear himself talk, knows all and there isn't anyone better than him. One of his favorite comments when someone dares to stand up to him, he'll bellow loudly "I'll crush" him/them (whatever is appropriate for the occasion). His ego is huge compared to the beak. He also has his little puppets that plays his dirty tricks for him.
Also Jones, like DuBois and some of their top appointed staff, in addition to receiving their $100,000++/- county salary plus benefits, also enjoys their full NYS pensions in the neighborhood of $40,000 each. Not bad work if you can get it.
