It may be a festival but it ain't about the films
Dearest Nieces and Nephews, Big News in Middletown! the filmmaker/former NJ state senate candidate is making another film, starring Paul Servino!
Kenneth Del Vecchio, the BIG TIME film producer of so-called right wing films like "The Life Zone" (where 3 pregnant women are kidnapped and FORCED to bring their pregnancies to term- yes, that is another post in itself); Kenneth Del Vecchio, former State Senate Candidate, who was able to garner 32.7% of the votes in his PRIMARY run against fellow Republican John Driscoll in 2011, is yet again gracing us with his presence! He founded and chairs the festival, which was also in Teaneck NJ one time. (and possibly Jersey City too!)
Trivia Question: Was the Hoboken film festival, which Kenny calls "one of the biggest film festivals of all time" ever in Hoboken?
Answer: Maybe, once, according to the good folks in the Hoboken City Hall. (Maybe they are not big film aficionados but you would think they'd notice.)
Hoboken film festivial, one of the largest film festivals in the world? Avez-vous jamais entendu parler de Cannes?
Kenny admits to being a renaissance man who is a lawyer, a former judge, and an acclaimed novelist and film maker. True, he is a former judge. He was a municipal judge in North Arlington, NJ from January to May 2010. He resigned due to a potential CONFLICT OF INTEREST between being a judge and being a film producer according to the NJ Code of Judicial Conduct.
According to the NY Times, "he produces, writes, directs and acts in low-budget films you probably have not seen." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/31/nyregion/31judge.html?_r=0
Kenneth owns the "Criminal Law Learning Center", which does not seem to have it's own website. In fact, the only reference to this Center is in press releases from Kenneth or his Bio on the website for a Hackensack NJ law firm. http://www.pearcelaw1.com/attorneys.htm
"As the owner of The Criminal Law Learning Center, he has taught criminal law to over 1,000 police officers and lawyers." http://www.justiceforallproductions.com/#!about/c2414 (not sure about accuracy of this site of his, since the copyright date is 2023) Auntie recommends that you go to the link and watch the video. If you have any doubts about how great Kenny is, you will have none after viewing his video.
Flood the market and the internet so that the info out there is yours-Marketing 101
This year's festival in Middletown has sponsors such as the Garden State Journal (owned by Kenneth Del Vecchio) and Pearcelaw (Kenneth Del Vecchio, of Counsel) and the Paramount Theatre (Kenneth DelVecchio and Angela Rosier Taylor). The festival is also sponsored by the City of Middletown, Orange County and David Hoolver. ( Q: Should a DA be sponsoring film events? Does Hoovler endorse kidnapping women as in "The Life Zone"?)
Books too! Fiction and non-fiction.
One of the non-fiction books he has written is: New York Code of Criminal Justice: A Practical Guide Apr 19, 2008
description, Amazon.com: Specific to the state of New York, this book has taken on
the monumental task of explaining what the criminal statutes mean. The first of
its kind, it contains every statute found in the New York penal code and every
New York motor vehicle statute, all in complete verbatim text.
Wouldn't that just
be another copy of the penal code and MV statutes? Now to be fair, he does
throw in anecdotal information to assist with understanding the laws. (However, that is his interpretation; you'd be better off going to McKinney's, which provides the statutes and relevant cases. Also, McKinney's is updated regularly.)
Are you starting to recognize the pattern here? Puff up your credentials, make promises and repeat, repeat, repeat! Where ever have we seen that pattern before?
And dear nieces and nephews, where have you seen this smile before?
(Separated at Birth Nov 2014)
And with all of this wonderful publicity, where was the Vice President of the Hoboken Film Festival who is also the Vice President of the Paramount Theater? Where was the indecorous Angela who illustrated just how important this festival was to her by this statement: (Hoboken Hijinks Jan 2015)

A long time ago - (1yr-ish) - I busted
my bum trying to make an impact on the entertainment scene in the Hudson Valley
working as, Vice President of the Paramount Theatre in Middletown & Hoboken
Film Festival. Why does Auntie and the Team think this crew is in Orange County yelling: "Hey, Rube!" all with the blessings of our OC officials?

The same GSJ that published on 12-25-14 that glowing article on Neuhaus??? You have got to be kidding Auntie.
I just watched the video about Ken. His greatness is beyond question ... I think he said so himself like 12 times or more in the video.
That video is almost as funny as the Neuhaus tribute article.
Auntie wouldn't kid about something like this
His overly dramatic and agressive approach does not hide the lack of content; if you listen to what he says not how he says it.
The thing is so bombastic, so over the top, the lavishing of praise so thick, it again almost seems to be parody or satire. It is one of the strangest promotional videos I've ever seen, and having a M.A. in Broadcasting and Film studies I can say I've seen many over the years.
Well, Nephew, you never cease to amaze us.
