Another one bites the dust
Dear Nieces and Nephews, County Legislator Dennis Simmons is someone that Auntie the Team liked because he took on certain issues with vigor, (even if it was against the "old boys club"). Now, he has essentially been SILENCED.
"What do you mean, Auntie?"
Well. what better way to shut someone up than giving them a possible "no-show" job** with a BIG salary. A job that requires him to resign from the legislature.
We guess that he will no longer be "Feisty".
We guess the Under-sheriff is happy.
Why bother giving the position to the Deputy Commissioner of Jurors, who actually knows how to do the job?
BTW what is going on at the Board of Elections that the two Commissioners and a Deputy Commissioner were looking to get out by getting this job as Commissioner of jurors? .
The jury has come back with a verdict: Simmons is in, they're out!
Let's see who the Boards of Deer Park, Mount Hope and Port Jervis appoint to fill Dennis' legislative seat...
or woman... **No-show" because the Deputy Commissioner and staff will do the job, no reflection on Tonie Murphy

Please see a correction that appeared in the Times Herald Record today which incorrectly listed Deputy Elections Commissioner Courtney Greene as one of the candidates interviewed for the Commissioner of Jurors spot. This was an incorrect rumor and was reported by the THR. They have corrected their error.
Mr. Simmons was being very hard on the Neuhaus "Team Orange" administration ... did they offer this high paying job to get rid of him?? .... or was he being so hard on them, so that they would do this to get him out of their hair?? Who played who??? Just asking.
Hear Port Jervis mayor is lookin at SIMMONS SEAT. Cant wait till Sharon Wong vs Vince Ferri goes to court will be a great show. Mr. Sussman will make HOOVY HOOVLER look like amature hour.
Now, this is our freedom loving sheriff whose undersheriff is a member of the OATHKEEPERS? He's locking people up for political speech? I want to see this one go to to trial!!!
