Dear Nieces and Nephews

Like a cancer that tricks you into thinking you are in remission, political agendas hibernate and then suddenly arise when you least expect it. Certain issues do not go away, they just take a nap. And after their political nap the issue rises again, is put to a vote late at night or as an "added agenda item" or modified somewhat or, in this case, just at an unannounced meeting (remember, a county formed LDC is "Quasi-governmental" and not subject to the same Open Meetings Law as a "governmental body")

And the next thing you know, all of the political medicine you dispensed and the other treatments you administered are all for naught!

You see, we, the people cannot take "naps"; the price of freedom IS eternal vigilance.

Freedom is hard work. But Auntie has faith in her nieces and nephews, who are keeping watch.

So does anyone in Orange County government want to answer this question?

Because the urge to sell Valley View and the lands on which it sits, is just taking a nap.

There must be gold in them thar hills. Or in someone's pocket.
