STEVE FLUNKS COUNTY EXECUTIVE 101

Dear Nieces and Nephews

Steve and Team Orange were all agog in DC for the Presidential inauguration ceremony and have completely come down with a case of the D.T.s! Steve is hopeful that the new POTUS’ connection (He attended NY Military Academy) to Orange County will inspire the new President to help with the issues in OC! Steve was seen applauding energetically and cheering loudly at the inauguration.

STEVE SAID: "He'll spend a lot of time here, and he'll see the problems ... and he'll give us the attention we need,"

Steve, whatever do you mean? We thought everything was GREAT! At least that is what you said in your State of the County report, your “Orange County Report Card” and elsewhere; those “informational” flyers you sent out at taxpayer’s expense that looked suspiciously like campaign flyers for the Dream Team.

Nieces and Nephews, you know the ones of which we speak! Those proclaiming just how wonderful it is to be in Orange County, that we have jobs. Jobs. Jobs! (6000 in 1000 days *-all yet to be verified) and a high level of Tourism to boost our bottom dollar along with a Growing Economy! The flyers where Steve touts the number of new businesses located in OC; shovel ready sites to attract even more business and reinvigorate Foreign Trade. (He doesn’t do really do Foreign Trade, the Feds do, but it is just so darn cute when he says things like that.) Let’s look at the businesses that Steve has supported.

Maybe Donald Trump can help with these.

Are these the problems that you would like to talk to Donald Trump about? Because Auntie and the Team see a very simple solution. And the solution is coming this November.

Footnotes:

*“He said the decision resulted from the dissolution of the partnership. He cited "personal and private reasons which I am not at liberty to discuss."

Kikkerfrosch principals met in a closed session with the IDA in 2013 after the Times Herald-Record reported that one investor was an owner of Secaucus, N.J., hospital that was criticized by the state for filing late financial reports, and faced tax liens when payroll taxes were not paid to the government.”

**“Valley Agriceuticals had been so confident that it would win one of the five state licenses to produce medicinal marijuana that it started building on its 139-acre site in the Fair Oaks section of the town months before the state Health Department announced its choices.

Valley Agriceuticals even held a groundbreaking June 11, complete with speeches about the benefits of medicinal marijuana and expressions of support from local officials.”

***“…the resolution, the Port Authority said the country's 12th-largest craft brewer planned to build a 250,000-square-foot brewery, warehouse and visitors/retail center on 18.9 acres in the Stewart Industrial Park. The lease would begin April 1. The only other publicly identified site that the brewery has been considering is on Staten Island”.

“>Continental owners Michael Finnegan and Thomas Endress, both of Garrison, were warmly received by Orange County business and political leaders when they arrived about five years ago. They promised a cutting-edge business that would employ military veterans, and held their hands out for taxpayers' largess.

The county's Industrial Development Agency unanimously approved a 15-year payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement, instead of the usual 10-year plan. Today the company is behind in payments to the Cornwall schools, New Windsor and the county.

Among the unsecured creditors is Depew Energy, which is owed $24,657 for propane, according to bankruptcy documents.>  http://www.recordonline.com/article/20151012/NEWS/151019823

Those against the LEGO LAND PROJECT should hold C.EX NEUHAUSE responsible for sightng it in Goshen. It was Neuhause an political hacks who selectd the Goshen sight Rumours of corruption etc run ramped in Goshen unfouned at best. My opinion is the Goshen Town board needs to be more open an revisit some statements made pro legoland in the past by some of its members. As far has the planning board goes its chair has been accused of openly supporting this project? His employer is the CO/EX Neuhause, who gave us legoland an his employee cashs his pay check signed by the CO/EX. CONFLICT NOT IN ORANG CO.

The planning board chair is employed by Steve Neuhaus? Doesn't Steve openly support the project? If the chairperson is worried about keeping his day job then he might be a bit frightened to vote no to the project. Yes that is a conflict of interest!

When OC politicians are involved in a "groundbreaking" ceremony it should be called "windbreaking", lots of hot air and usually stinks.

Dear Nieces and Nephews, another one for the report card:Re Star Kay White

Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus applauded the funding announced for his county on Thursday, attributing it to "our successful track record of getting things done and a diverse portfolio of projects including youth services, job training, tourism promotion, (and) infrastructure development." Both he and Hein serve on the 30-member regional council that prioritizes projects in the region that seek economic development grants each year.
"I look forward to working with my many partners to see these projects implemented," Neuhaus said.

Dear Auntie,
Why do you suppose Steve Newhouse is not out inpublic proclaiming the his success in attracting Lego to Goshen? Shouldn't he be out bragging to the people of Goshen how lucky we are that he convinced them to come to our town?
