WHERE IS WAYNE BOOTH?

HAS ANYONE SEEN WAYNE BOOTH?

If you recall, my dear Nieces and Nephews, back in December, the CE chose Wayne Booth to serve as Deputy County Executive. From the THR:

TOWN OF WALLKILL - Orange County Executive-Elect Steve Neuhaus announced Thursday morning that Town of Newburgh Supervisor Wayne Booth will serve as deputy county executive in his administration. Neuhaus announced the appointment before a crowd of more than 100 at an Orange County Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the West Hills Country Club. -James Walsh

And not a squeak from him! What is he doing to justify that lovely paycheck that he receives from the County? And what is the salary after Stevie Wonder restored the salaries for his executive team to the pre-cutback status? Take a look below.

The THR again, Jan 2014 :

Diana's 2014 budget sharply reduced salaries for all but two of the nine positions in the county executive's department, including an almost $45,000 pay reduction for the deputy county executive position that had been vacant for months. Annual pay for the other jobs were cut by amounts ranging from about $6,000 to $12,000.

Neuhaus, who plans to hire Town of Newburgh Supervisor Wayne Booth as his deputy and pay him $130,000, had the county's minimum amount of $89,000 budgeted for that position. On Wednesday, he implored a panel of lawmakers to bring his total budget for salaries back to its 2013 level. Chris McKenna

Neat trick, on one hand crying that we need to sell Valley View to combat the $60 million deficit and then on the other hand justifying the need to pay $130K to Mr. Booth.

And they are dancing all the way to the bank...

STEVE SAID something good and then…oops!

At the SUNY Orange graduation, Steve rightly said to honor the Military Veterans that were graduating, but then he goes on.

Now before we take a scathing look at what Steve went on to say, Auntie must tell you that she was out attending various Memorial Day events and was privileged to speak to many Veterans. EVERY ONE of them told your Auntie that STEVE SAID that he would NOT SELL VALLEY VIEW when he spoke to them.

During the graduation address Steve went on to say: "principles make you who you are."

Now I don’t know what you think, but it does not seem very principled to your Auntie to say that you won’t sell Valley View and then have it OUT OF COUNTY CONTROL under the control of the LDC within the first few months of your administration. Why he just scurried along with that transfer, didn’t he? And all his little legislators just scurried along with him.

STEVE SAID: "surround yourself with people who are smarter than you."

You mean to tell us that smart people are advising you on your course of action? People smarter that you are telling you to mislead your constituents repeatedly? Hey, Stevie Wonder, tell those so called smart people that we’ve caught on already! You better get some even smarter people to guide you.

STEVE SAID: "Change is one of the most important things you can do in life."

Change?

Like what? "Changing" the facts depending on to whom you speak?

But, wait, what about sticking to your principles?
