Loyalty is nice but can be misguided. Part One
“Now, Auntie”, you
say, “How can loyalty be misguided?”
Well, Dear Nieces and
Nephews, it most certainly can be misguided when it has the purpose of
providing jobs for your friends on the taxpayer’s dime (especially if the person is unqualified or not as qualified
as they should be.)
Auntie will share
with you today the stories of two
families in favor with our County Executive, but don’t worry, there’s more to
come!
Let’s take a look at
some of the hiring activity of our County Executive, who thunders through the
county government in a less than elegant fashion, our own "Stevie Thunder"
The Pascocello
Family:
We have Dain
Pascocello, (nephew of the OAS Bill Pascocello)) as spokesman for the
County Executive’s office. Dain does have experience as not only a spokesman,
but also in the “Blame Game”, as evidenced by the statement below, sources
cited:
"Dain Pascocello, a spokesman for US Rep. Tim
Murphy, R- Upper St. Clair, said the congressman is aware of the frustration
felt by the families."Had the Senate bothered to take up the
House-passed Defense appropriations bill providing funding for the commissary
and not let it languish for 10 weeks, this situation could have been completely
avoided and the commissary could have remained open, "Mr. Pascocello said." As it stands now, Congressman Murphy
shares the frustration of local military families and veterans and is committed
to working towards a resolution. He urges the Senate to take up all of the
spending bills the House has sent over this past week and past months to get
this country back up and running again. "In another shutdown-related
development affecting the military, Gov. Tom Corbett wrote to US Defense
Secretary Chuck Hagel asking for the country's furloughed National Guard
military technicians to be put back to work, including 1,000 in Pennsylvania. Jonathan

Bill Pascocello
And then, there is Uncle Bill, William Pascocello of OAS. He almost succeeded in running
Valley View to the ground after more than 10 years of receiving $750k/annum for
himself and 2 others. AND he had first dibs (called “the right of first refusal”) to
buy Valley View. AND He had other interesting arrangements, see diagram below:

Is it possible, that
some type of affiliation exists between our county executive and Mr.
Pascocello?
Maybe we need a new
chart.
1 Comments:
It would seem that this 'family affair' is no accident and that the CE has deep ties to continue in the eventual demise of Valley View. It opens up now more questions in his ability to serve this county. And since no one thought this hiring was in bad taste only makes it more suspect. OC needs it would seem more than a new chart. It needs a new administration.
