Well, well, Nieces and Nephews, while the OC Legislature was busy with the County's budget on Thursday, where was our County Executive. Stevie Thunder?

And while the legislature was passing an illegal law, asset seizure for misdemeanor CHARGES (that means: not even convicted of a crime of any sort) where was the District Attorney?

Well, we know where the County Executive was! He was carrying Christmas trees!!!

And while that would be nice IF he did not have any immediate responsibilities, don't you think he should have been at the meeting? cluck, cluck, cluck.  (BTW while Steve was carrying Christmas trees for the troops, his brothers and sisters-in-arms were carrying M-16's. We are almost surprised he did not wear his dress whites for this photo op!)

And where was David Hoovler, the biggest proponent  of this "Seizure at Leisure" law?

P.S. regarding the Asset Seizure law, L Stephen Brescia said: “It is basically what we are using now, the asset forfeiture law, and this gives the county a little share of that we can distribute money to health and mental health or other programs,” 



Wrong! Inaccurate! Unlikely (we are trying to be nice and assume he wasn't lying outright, maybe he actually believes what he said, which is still scary.) It is NOT what you are using now! And the MONIES COLLECTED GO INTO THE GENERAL FUND. 

THEY ARE NOT DESIGNATED FOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS! 

Why, they may even go to ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT!!! Steve can dole out perks to his faves!
