By now you have seen it, an example of alleged corruption

Carmen Dubaldi, a political “player” in Orange County, most
noticeably an “aide du camp” to then Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (now County
Clerk) and campaign treasurer to many including Senator William Larkin (yes, he
is still a Senator) has resigned those and his other political positions. Why?
Well, the rumors abound but Auntie has an inkling that Carmen
faces the possibility of numerous felony charges involving misappropriated
funds.
And this web entangles many Orange County political players.
If one had any nefarious dealings with Carmen one should not
take any of his calls, they may be recorded.
Remember, the first one into the US attorney’s office gets
the deal.
This is in addition to Carmen being sued by a former
Democratic Party Councilwoman for his insensitive manipulation of a domestic
dispute; presenting a photo as an arrest photo and submitting to the newspaper.

Auntie and the Team ponder whether or not Stevie Thunder will take
action against Carmen (Yes, he is a County Employee!) who allegedly misappropriated
funds. Do you think he should have access to County monies which are really
ours?
Auntie recalls then County Executive Eddie Diana taking
punitive action against now Assemblyman Karl Brabrenec for the wild
Karlapalooza party back in ‘03. Will Steve do the same or will he do the usual Stevie
thing and blame someone else?
What a Maalox moment this will be! Watch the pols scramble!
BTW: Carmen Dubaldi has not been see of late.
We suspect that he is in witness protection.

Carmine, Co-Operate with prosecutors sace your self your political associates are running for cover avoid being a guest at A county jail a state penatentery or Federal facility. YOU ARE NOW A MAN WITHOUT MANY FRIENDS.
Wonder how much Annie the CountyClerk knew about his dealings, after all he was her aide for some time. But her motto is "Just do it, and if you get caught just pretend like you didn't know what was going on". Wonder if this is Team Oranges motto too? It wil be interesting to watch all these pols start to unravel. Who will rat on who?
I can't believe Annie knew about criminal conduct. I will be shocked if that is the case. If it proves to be true I will apologize but I just can't believe she knew.
Chris she signed his time sheets for his no show job! How many hours overlap with his county job? Is that not a crime?
Sad.
I will say this, if this guy has any access to monies in his county position then the County Exec should be speed dialing the Comptroller's and the NYS Attorney General's Office immediately. An independent oversight agency needs to examine the situation immediately.
And the U.S. Attorney's Office should be notified ASAP.
Yup save yourself Carmine, trust me your co-horts are throwing you under the bus. Hope you cya and kept good records.
There is NO WAY Annie Rabbit knew anything about this if its even true or just another stupid side tracking comment used to take our eye off the real problems in our world. Carmen must have worked for Annie Rabbit because he had years of experience with other politians someone must have recommended him. She is not at all a corrupt Politian. Shame on all of you for bringing her name thru the mud you must not have known Annie and its easy for you to throw dirt in someones face that you don't know. she was a hard worker that worked for you the people in her district and she was always above board she is a kind hard working person who always had the best interest of the people she served first in mind. You should be thanking Annie for her years of service to all of you. Not jumping on a stupid rumour train. Shame on all of you.
If Annie Rabbit doesn't know what is going on in her own bank account how can we trust her to protect the millions that flow thru the DMV and County Clerks office? Victim she is not. If she was a victim then she should show leadership and march into the police station and press charges against her hatchet man Dubaldi. That would show leadership!
You are so right about Annie. She is no victim. Someone should look into the mismanagement of the Clerks office and really see Annie at work. The entire clerks office has taken a turn for the worse since she got into office.
Any proof of that?
Yes ask anyone there who conducts business at the Clerks office everyday how things really are. People are lead to believe everything is good there.
That is not my experience at all. I had to get a DBA from the Clerk's office in the spring and it went extremely smoothly and well.
Annie showed me a number of the changes she has made to make the office more service friendly. And full disclosure, we also had lunch together at the cafeteria at Valley View.
I don't doubt that Dubaldi is corrupt and I hope everything comes out in the wash. But Annie did a great job in the Assembly in representing her constituents.
Look into Dubaldi's relationship with Langdon Chapman. REMmed her Dubaldi, as a Notary gets the signatures for the Republicans which need the Independence line.
Follow the petitions. Whose name as chair is a the bottom of all the Indy petitions.
Do you finally get the message? One last tip: and that person works for whom in government? Best kept secrets don't stay long anymore
