Midweek Musings

Dear Nieces and Nephews

A few thoughts for your Wednesday:

We can most certainly assure you, that Doug Bloomfield, Supervisor of Goshen, is NOT on drugs.  In reference to the “Host Agreement” where the Lego people agree to provide additional monies to the town DOUG SAID: “doesn’t mean we’re going to agree, It says: ‘Yeah we’re interested, but you’re going to have to do a lot more work to get through the process.’”  (???)

We really do not know what is causing it, but there does seem to be a “disconnect” of some sort. Perhaps he was confusing the words "brib..." er, excuse us, "incentive" and "facts".

THIS is where they want to locate Legoland!!!! Just to the right of that housing development:
Arcadia Hills.

Legoland would occupy the mostly open area above Route 17

Auntie and the Team have something for the Host Agreement: make it a mandatory condition of approval that the Legoland executives, including the he-thinks-he’s-ever-so-dashing, Phil Royle, own and live in a home in Arcadia Hills for ten years starting this week!!! And would Auntie's British nieces and nephews please send us  any info they have on Mr. Royle? Thank you.

Steve Neuhaus* despite the rumours, was not mistaking employees for cheese that is past it’s “sell-by” date when HE SAID: “…because it avoids layoffs and it gets rid of, usually long-tier employees that are the ones that are costing the most and are contributing the least to their benefits package.” http://midhudsonnews.com/News/2017/May/16/OC_sep_agmt-16May17.html

Those useless employees!!! Begone! Did you expect any gratitude for your years of labor? It almost seems silly, doesn’t it?

*At the risk of seeming juvenile, Auntie absolutely loves the new moniker for our County Executive, “Steve Noodlehaus”! It does suit him, doesn't it? Thank you to the dear niece or nephew who posted it.Your Auntie always welcomes clever humour.

And finally, Maureen Halahan really meant it this time when SHE SAID: “This is our most important project,” regarding the CPV power plant in Wawayanda.

My only question is does Maureen Halahan live even remotely close to any of the locations for these remarkably stupid projects?

Not surprised that the Town Supervisor would support the Legoland project in that type of site. He has a very long history of having utter disdain for farmers and the farming community that makes up Goshen:

Sorry Chris 404 on that link but I believe you. The Supervisor has always had that "smug" attitude, you know, the one that is trying to convince himself that he is superior because he really isn't.

Conflicts on the part of the key decision makers in Goshen are ridiculous! How much does each one of them get if a Legoland is allowed?
The hypocrisy is overwhelming, contrary statements by the supervisor, letting a lego supporter on the Planning board to stack the deck and a Governor who receives campaign contributions from LLC's and then miraculously votes their way.
Make it Stop!!!!

Please Auntie, see if you can arrange for Maureen, Steve(aka Noodlehaus) and Doug to ALL move to the CPV Power plant site. I think they should be there, the day the plant goes operational!!! That would be truly AWESOME!!! They could erect their housing on the vacant employee lots since the company will only need parking spaces for 23 cars, not the massive # during the current building phase. Please Auntie, let me know that each has agreed and what the move in date is??
