Sean Patrick! Your GPS Is Broken!

Dear Nieces and Nephews

That is the only explanation for how Congressman Maloney wound up in Kingston, Ulster County NY. He missed the exit on the NYS Thruway traveling north from Westchester County and wound up in Kingston! His GPS is broken!

In reality, he was there to protest the Republican Healthcare plan, surrounded by all the Democratic Party bigwigs, including County Executive Mike Hein, at a big rally meant to do nothing but incite a political party riot. Not a Republican to be found! However, Congressman Maloney was quite clear:

Maloney explained to his newfound audience that he “adopted” Faso’s district over his refusal to publicly discuss health care reform. “It’s a little unusual, making a few people nervous,” Maloney observed, adding that he hoped similar sandbagging of next-door Republicans becomes a popular national trend.

The next day,

FASO SAID: Maloney’s rally… “shows the insincerity of his notion about bipartisanship. In actuality he is hyper-partisan and very liberal, who masquerades as a moderate.

And Faso’s statement is correct.

To hold a rally in another Congress members district is not only bad form, divisive and a bully tactic, it is just plain rude. It will not accomplish anything except giving rise to even more animosity in Congress and it shows that the Congressman is less concerned with his own district.

When was the last time he was in Orange County? When was the last time he endorsed a local Democratic Party candidate? (He endorsed Republican NYS Senator Larkin* in the last election; Senator Larkin, who is 90 years old and should just enjoy retirement for his remaining time on the planet) When has Congress member Maloney attended a local Democratic party function? When was the last time he was even in Orange County, Hmmnn?

When? not for a long time. Which is silly on his part since Orange County is a large part of his district, about half. But don't ask his staff in the local office; they don't know what they are doing or they don't care.

The only recent comment concerning OC was the unsolicited endorsement for the CPV Power Plant in Wawayanda! He supports using Fracked gas and antiquated energy solutions, which the local Dems are against, along with most of the area residents. He supports it despite the ongoing revelations of health issues related to such infrastructure. What’s his next trick? Support of drilling in the Arctic Circle? More offshore drilling for oil? How about what is happening in North Dakota?  Is it really OK to "accidentally" hit demonstrators and protesters with a motor vehicle? Not a peep from this congressional chicken!

He has become like the energy solutions he is now supporting: an old fossil.

And the local Dems are Ticked Off!

Please find your way back Sean Patrick, lest your Auntie think you are nothing but a big hypocrite!

The only other reason for this big charade in Kingston is that his GPS is directing him to a US Senate seat and Kingston is just a waypoint.

PS

MALONEY SAID: “There may be some twisted metal and some broken glass, so everybody better buckle up, Because I think we’re in some interesting times, and the stakes are really high on things like health care where the damage to our communities can be severe unless we get organized and active and show up.”

Just what does that mean exactly? Or are you just "blowing your horn"?

Yes, the one who ran against Larkin. Chris must be a really forgiving guy.
