In yesterday’s press
release, Stevie Thunder screamed the following:

Neuhaus calls for balanced budget as bond-rating

“Moody’s Investors
Service today downgraded Orange County’s bond rating to Aa3 and assigned the
county a negative financial outlook. This is the second time Moody’s has
downgraded the county’s bond rating in less than six months.”…
Steve, it doesn’t
help that, as you run around caterwauling about Valley View, you don’t really have
a plan. (Do we all realize now that selling Valley View would be a one-time shot
in the arm to the county budget and not a year after year revenue stream?)
Maybe your significant lack of leadership is also contributing to this
decrease.
And it is interesting to note that this decrease in rating occurred
just AFTER you met with the Moody’s people.
What the heck did you say?

County Executive’s leadership style?

Their isn,t any. A military call up is now likely I sure wouldn,t want to be in a fox hole with Lt. Neuhaus.
First of all to the person who commented on being in a 'fox hole with Lt. Neuhaus. I resent any inference of him being associated with the 'military'. He should not be able to wear the uniform of our brave men who serve. He may be in the 'reserves' but he in no way represents anything but a man who chose the easy way out. I will refrain from what I think of his leadership style.
Sir i wasn,t lauding Mr.Neuhaus at all.his using the Uniform of our Military as a political ploy makes me sick. If their is a deployment let,s see how he get, out of it. oh yes he is needed in Orange Co. To protect the our VET,S in Valley View maybe they can re enlist an take Neuhaus,s position in a fox hole. Sempr fi.

I would like to know from what other sources, other than the CE's input, does Moody's get it's information to determine their decision to downgrade. It all seems so conveniently one sided. If I ran my business like this and did not take advice from all my board members I hasten to think how I would have a business in good standing with my peers. Mr. Neuhaus seems to have a one track mind regarding valley view, that I will say.
