It seems that the Pay to Play law passed the legislature without a hiccup. Some of the legislators may have voted for it because they (or a friend in another branch of the government) may benefit, the others voted for it because they did not think it through.
Either way, bad legislation was passed and that causes us to wonder "why?" And it inspires us to look into a few things...
